Small service.Clear limits.
idler.me exists for people who want practical email aliases without a public signup funnel or a larger product promise.
About idler.me
One person runs the service
The operator maintains the application, mail path, server, and invitations. This is self-hosted community infrastructure, not a staffed support operation. Access is manually provisioned for invited users.
Why it exists
Email aliases make it easier to separate a service from your primary address. When an alias becomes noisy or exposed, you can disable it instead of migrating your real mailbox.
Infrastructure and availability
The service runs on a self-hosted deployment of the open-source AnonAddy application. Availability is best effort. There is no public status system, uptime guarantee, published local quota, or promise that the service will continue indefinitely.
Plan for migration
Keep a record of important services using each alias. If idler.me changes or stops, update those accounts to a new address. Do not use the service as the only recovery route for an important account.
TODO: add the operator's public name or pseudonym, infrastructure location, and contact address.
